Summer Reading Program 2014

The Kick-Off Party is set for Friday, June 6th at 7:00pm.  All are invited to attend; no registration is necessary.  There will be ice cream, popcorn, clowns, face painting, and lots of fun!  This is also the time to register for the reading program and weekly activities.

Check out a free pass for one of Michigan's premiere cultural attractions by clicking on the link above.   With over 75 venues from which to choose, you are sure to find something that fits your interest.
 
Important points:
1.  When you print a MAP pass, you have 7 days to use it.
2.  Please note that if you choose to print your MAP pass on a library printer, you will be charged the regular fee which is $0.10 per page for black & white printouts.
3.  Prior to your visit, please call ahead or check the museum's website in order to verify hours of operation, etc.

Livingston Reads 2014: "The Butler: A Witness to History" by Wil Haygood.

 
Livingston Reads runs March 1through April 30 and celebrates the 10th anniversary of Livingston Reads, which promotes reading and creative thinking throughout the county by including discussion groups and other activities surrounding one book. Multiple copies of the book and DVD of the film are now available.
 
Libraries participating in Livingston Reads include the Brighton District Library, Fowlerville District Library, Hartland Cromaine District Library, Hamburg Township Library, Howell Carnegie District Library, and Pinckney Community Public Library.
